How e-fulfilment works in nine steps

You're more than a number to us. We want to really understand you and your business, so we can work together to give your customers the best. Using your customer and process analysis, we prepare an implementation plan to ensure your e-fulfilment delivers the best possible customer experience. With our value added logistics (VAL), we give your customers a tailor-made experience as your brand lands on their doorstep.

Our own technical experts link your e-commerce platform to our Warehouse Management System (WMS). We can directly link to platforms including Shopify, Lightspeed, Magento, WooCommerce and CCV Shop, and even your ERP or CRM if you want. This gives us immediate access to the correct order information with all conditions, while you get 24/7 real-time information about your e-fulfilment. This includes orders placed on marketplaces such as Bol.com.

If you sell internationally or are planning to do so from the Netherlands, we can help you with importing and exporting from your very first idea. This includes requesting an Article 23 license and a VAT number. MoreStorage also has a customs warehouse with an in-house customs agent. We can store, sell and ship all goods covered by T1 (not yet cleared). While you do need to pay import duties, you can postpone (defer) payment of VAT.

You register your goods with us with a PO (purchase order). We then immediately plan in sufficient capacity for you. We carry out an initial inspection and, if the result is satisfactory, we accept the consignment. We check the quantities, size, weight and other requirements (such as coding and packaging) of the items. In this way, we ensure a smooth and problem-free process from the start. The selling can now begin.

Your goods are securely stored with us. We keep you informed about the exact stock levels, so you never disappoint a customer. This includes losses and damage. Because we send continuous push updates about your stock levels, you are always kept up to date. And from a minimum of ten pieces, we carry out an extra count to make sure you don't sell anything you don't have. Everything for your customers.

Your orders are immediately sent to you and to us. We combine all orders and our WMS calculates the most efficient route based on factors including location and quantity. In this way, we make sure your orders reach the sorting conveyor in no time for an extra check, before being carefully packed according to your instructions. Now it's time for them to be sent to your customers!

Our carriers arrive to pick up packages from MoreStorage several times a day and take them to the sorting centres. They pick up your orders until just before midnight and send them the same day, so your customers receive them the next day. We work with carriers including DHL, DPD, UPS, PostNL and our own MoreStorage Transport. You aren't tied to anything: you can choose and switch whenever you want. You're in control.

You report the return in our WMS. This includes rejected orders, defects and products that didn't meet your customers' expectations. If you have special requests for your returns, such as return forms or packing instructions, we can handle these too. We accept your return and report the condition of the returned item to you. While you remain responsible for the financial side of the returns process, we handle all the rest.

You have access to real-time information about your e-fulfilment in our dashboards or your own dashboarding or business intelligence solution, such as Power BI. We can fully customise these for you.
